Paddock Rules
  • Because of tight paddock space, each competitor is allowed ONE support vehicle. Other vehicles must be parked outside the paddock in designated areas. Support vehicles must display a vehicle pass plainly visible and fully adhered. All support vehicles must be parked within designated paddock space. Any vehicle in the paddock without an appropriate pass will be removed.
  • No racecar engine may be run on OCSC grounds prior to 10:00am or after 6:00pm due to local ordinances and Court injunctions. This includes Showroom Stock and Improved Touring cars that may be street legal.
  • The speed limit within the paddock is 5 miles per hour. Race officials will penalize anyone exceeding this speed limit or driving irresponsibly in the paddock.
  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages in the paddock prior to the end of the last racing event is strictly prohibited at all times.
  • The paddock access road will be closed to pedestrian traffic any time vehicles are on the track.
  • RESERVED paddock spaces are marked on the asphalt with a painted R. If the person holding the reservation has not arrived by 9:00am Saturday the space is available to anyone. You may not use a reserved space without permission.
  • Paddock space may not be "roped off" prior to 4:00pm Friday of the race weekend. If roped off space is not claimed by 9:00am Saturday, ropes will be removed.
  • No tent spikes of any kind will be allowed in the asphalt.
  • No golf carts, motorcycles, mini-bikes, ATVs, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, etc. may be ridden in the paddock during events (10:00am–6:00pm).
  • No unofficial vehicles are permitted on the track before or after racing.
  • Camping is permitted, for competitors, in the paddock on Friday and Saturday nights of race weekends. Additional camping outside of the paddock is available on a first-come first-served basis. Excessive noise, rude conduct, or behavior that disturbs others will result in loss of camping privileges. Please note: Township quiet hours are from 10:00am–8:00am.
  • Respect the Rules and Regulations and Have a Great Day!

Points FAQ
What races count towards Class Championships?
Only the Saturday and Sunday Class races are used to determine class championships.
What races count towards the Overall Championship?
The Overall, or "Top-Ten", Championship is determined by the Sunday Feature, as well as, the Saturday and Sunday Class races.
How are points awarded?
The following chart is used to award points based on finishing position and the number of cars in class.
Number of starters 8+ 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
Points for 1st 12 12 12 12 12 12 12 6
Points for 2nd 9 9 9 8 8 7 6
Points for 3rd 7 7 6 6 4 2
Points for 4th 6 5 5 4 2
Points for 5th 5 4 3 2
Points for 6th 4 3 2
Points for 7th 3 2
Points for 8th 2
All other finishers 1
I see a few people with 13 points in a race, how is that possible?
One bonus point is awarded each time a driver breaks a track record in a race.
I broke my track record in May, but I did not receive my bonus point.
Track records can be difficult to keep tabs on and can occur without the pointskeeper noticing. If your record can be verified, you will receive credit once you bring it to my attention.
The results from the Saturday Class Race in June were wrong — can you give me the points for what I say happened, rather than what is shown on the results?
No. Points are tabulated from OFFICIAL race results, as supplied by Timing and Scoring. Any mistakes that are not corrected during the PROVISIONAL stage will be included.
Jane Doe DNF'd in AS during the Sunday Class race from July — why does she have 0 points in AS class standings, but 12 in overall?
Because she drove in another class, as well, that weekend and her best finish from both Sunday Class races was used — per section IX.6. of WHRRI Rules and Regulations. Overall points are not class or car specific and are based on your best total per weekend.
Why am I listed at the bottom of the class standing with "#N/A" next to my name and "###" in the total points column?
Your WHRRI membership and/or license are not up to date. Drivers must be Waterford Hills members in good standing and hold a WHRRI competition license to earn points.
I won all three races that I entered this season and have the most points in the class — why am I not listed as Class Champion?
Drivers must have competed in at least four Class races during the year to be eligible for either a Class or Overall Championship.
Joe Schmoe had the most points in my class, but was not eligible because of the four-race rule — shouldn't I be listed as Class Champion?
If the points leader is excluded from championship eligibility because they did not complete the minimum race requirement, the championship will NOT be awarded — it does not simply move down to the first eligible driver.
How are ties broken?
Ties in the final points standings are resolved by counting the number of first place finishes by each driver. Second and third place finishes can further be used to try to break ties. If the tie is still not broken after counting first through third place finishes, the two drivers will be considered tied for the championship.
