Re: Remember these guys and this car at Waterford Hills?
the name Bill Maciolek is vaguely familiar. did the car run EP during that era? I bet Mark Windecker has a pic somewhere. you probably already know, but Wateford Hills will host a vintage event this year again, July 23-25. might be a good time to see if the car still knows its way around the hills...

if not, I think we should do something in his honor. I looked it up: his member number was 264. I don't know for sure, but it seems like he was active in the club that entire time.(?)... and hopefully it can be done at the race track.

seems to have all worked ok. let me know about any problems you encounter.
if you were previously using the dark theme, you'll need to choose it again on "board preferences" tab of the user control panel.

another phpbb upgrade
it's long overdue. I'll be upgrading the phpbb software this week. this should fix, among other things, the issue where you get a warning message about posts not working when they actually did. anyway, the basics are theoretically easy and shouldn't take long. but any style preferences may get lost ...

these wheels and these tires?
I bought some used H20s recently, and I have a set of OE wheels that came with my car -- i.e., already paid for. my question is whether I can mount these tires on these wheels. the tires are P205/50R15, and the wheels are 15x6JJ 45. I found some sources that say 205 is the max size that will mount o...

Re: SCCA v WHRRI novice options, logbook
Larry Jacobsen is chief of tech. you can email him at techshed@waterfordhills.com. again, I can't speak authoritatively on this, but in the past, I know that tech inspections have been available at the driver school classroom session. this gives you time to address any issues before the on-track ses...

Re: SCCA v WHRRI novice options, logbook
hi Jeff, I have only raced at Waterford and only hold a Waterford license. I _believe_ the WHRRI novice license is recognized by SCCA. hopefully someone else who knows for sure will weigh in soon. w.r.t. OCSC membership, yes, you do officially need to wait for a spot and have a sponsor to join the c...
