Re: Good Radiator Repair Shop?

If you live in Waterford, this would be farther than Troy but A&B Radiator in Ann Arbor is another option.

Re: Runoffs reports from WHRRI racers

image.jpg Here is my recap that I posted on Facebook, edited a little after I watched a few laps of video and refreshed my memory... Wow, what a week and what a race yesterday at the 2017 SCCA Runoffs! Still in a bit of a fog as we didn't get home until after 1:30am this (Monday) morning, but that ...

Re: Runoffs Qualifying

Kristian, Take a look at this chart, I think it will help make sense of it all. That said, it is more than just participating in three Majors weekends. Re: EPA SEEKS TO PROHIBIT CONVERSION OF VEHICLES INTO RACECA

Everyone, please calm down. Like so many things these days, this is another case of the media (or SEMA) not knowing all the facts and hyping a situation for good headlines. Nothing has actually changed or is changing from how the law is currently written. Recently, the EPA needed to clarify some lan...

Re: Questions About Getting Started

Second what Ralph said. While Bars Leak often does exactly what it promises, it can be pretty evil to the rest of the cooling passages. Being on a race track and knowing you need excellent engine cooling, I'd replace the radiator and flush the cooling system real good. Running an upgraded radiator i...

Re: Questions About Getting Started

Welcome Daniel! Congrats on making the leap into road racing. I will try not to get too long winded, but I was in your shoes back in 2009. I bought my first Spec Miata having very limited race experience and even less of an idea on how to prep the car. First, I would download the 2015 SCCA GCR and r...
