Carbon Fiber repair
A little curb rash needs repair on the chin spoiler of the old Maserati - while it's on the lift for the winter, thought I'd get it repaired. Anyone in the area? I've watched the youtube videos but would rather have it done right the first time if the cost isn't excessive. Thanks

Stainless Steel Shear
Need to cut some 16 gauge stainless steel, probably 16" long pieces. Any shops between Brighton and Royal Oak that can do that. Needs to be a clean cut for a custom hood vent. Thanks

Re: Race weekend 6 and season afterglow.
Glad Roger was able to help out a bit. I still kind of feel responsible for the announcing since I lured Matt from Specs Howard years ago offering an "internship" program to help him populate his resume. Glad he's stuck around so long...........unlike myself. Hope to see ya all next year! Got get my...

Re: Race weekend 6 and season afterglow.
Don't tell me you didn't have any help in the tower with announcing!? I was sure you would. I would have made the sactrifice to be there had I known the subs fell through. It would have been a good chance to see some of my ole racing pals. Hope your voice comes back soon!

Rookie Alert
I know this is an oldie but a goodie. Just came across it again and it's a good lesson on what not to do. Perhaps there are those who haven't seen it:

Yes, I'm racing! What I'm racing, I don't know yet but rest assured, I'll be in an ITS car. . Greg, My understanding is that the 99 Miata is the new ITS car to have. You may want to investgate a little further on this? I've heard that Chris (and seen results). Yes, now let's see.......... where did...

No worries Alex, I could feel the love...and it would be fun to have you in the mix again. The Mazdas chasing the German cars! Or maybe this year it'll be vice-versa! At any rate, I've got a year of seat time to make up so I'lll be happy just to race.............yeah right, for trhe first weekend an...

Yes, I'm racing! What I'm racing, I don't know yet but rest assured, I'll be in an ITS car. I did speak with Lynn and Rob. I'm inferring from Christians post that Greg Steen would hold his position from last year. Probably too late anyway if no one feels strongly enough about it to take the leadersh...

So who's spearheading any "A" ban? Randy, Christian? So far, from this thread or people I've talked to, this is what it looks like: Ban the Hoosier "A" Randy Shaw Christian Cook Matthias Ochs Greg Blastic Lynn Kraft Greg Steen Rob Martin Keep the Open DOT Rule Alex Pagani (if you decide to step it u...

That's the problem, there's no such thing as "old A" tires for us.

Re: ITS tires
Charlie is pretty much indifferent, although he does like running quicker on the A's and feels the #51 is better set up for the A's.
Lynn likes the "R" or I guess, no "A" rule.
I'm sure Bruce has been reading this and I can't/won't answer for him. I'm sure he'll pipe in at some point.

I'd support it as well but not sure I qualify as a "voting member" as I let my membership go last year. I do plan on getting back up to speed (pun intended)this year.
I think it's a good idea if someone in good standing can spearhead the movement.......Randy?

Re: STL run group in Group 3?
Good deal Chris. Thanks. I would agree that STL would fit well in Group 3. What's the process to add that?
BTW Chris, where's that Neon going??

Re: STL run group in Group 3?
Randy, if you take the fenders off those things, would it be classified in Formula Mazda as well?
I take it your car went from "DP" to STU and now is in the new STL? I wonder if the 13b 7's are in STU or STL?

Dan Watkin's ITS RX7 is a good car. A littlte over your budget but....ITS is fast and fun. Cars are a little bigger, we have one guy that's about 6-2.
But, of course, you want something you could drive to the track.
