Need to Rent or Borrow a Trailer to Haul Ford 8N

Help!! I used to race with y'all at WHRRI but unfortunately haven't been out in a long, long time. Still, I cherish the times I was able to be a part of the family. Anyway, I'm heading out tomorrow to look at and potentially purchase a Ford 8N tractor with a front end loader and a rear box blade. If...

Re: Good Radiator Repair Shop?

Morning Vaughn! I should have said "former Bill Niemeyer Midget..." I'm talking about the same Midget I had when you and I were paddocked nose to tail. I had spots 60 & 61 back then (2005) before the paddock spots were renumbered. Bill won the 2000 FP Runoffs with this car, then sold it to Peter Mor...

Re: Good Radiator Repair Shop?

Roger that Steve and thanks for the info and the offer. No need for a trip to the barn -- I have a couple in storage but unsure of their condition at this time. The one that came in the car should be easily repairable -- if I have time I might even tackle it myself. Time is driving my train and I wa...

We'll check them out and see what they say.

Thanks again!

Good Radiator Repair Shop?

Hello All, My task is to "wake up" a 1959 Bugeye Sprite that has been in a basement for 24 years. My step-mom finally gave her Bugeye to my half sister (step-mom's oldest daughter - Heather) and of course the subject came between them about who to work on it to get it running again. Of course I was ...

Re: ITE, I'm looking for the definition of an ITE car rules

Morning Alan, Your question got me curious too so I took a look around. Info on ITE does seem rather hard to come by! I found our rules refer us to the Great Lakes Division rules for ITE. After no luck searching the Great Lakes Division site, I did a Google search for Great Lakes Division ITE Rules ...

Re: if you own/race a car in F-Prod, H-prod, GTL or GT3 , re

Rather than doing that, we could allow current prod cars in current SCCA classes while also allowing cars that meet some frozen in time set of Prod rules. That'd satisfy me as long as I'm not chasing the rapidly moving target the SCCA seems to cherish -- even though they deny it. Actions speak... Ca...

Re: if you own/race a car in F-Prod, H-prod, GTL or GT3 , re

Absolutely agree with Jeff's post above! My goal, though not 100% firm, is to be back out with the WHRRI family next season. It is 100% for the following year as I'll retire from Ford in early 2015 and be free from the ungodly number of hours I work and the midnight shift! I fully expect I'll have a...
