More questions...Yeah!!! 2012 Race fees - have they been determined yet? I doubt I'll have the time to do all six Friday practice days, can I pay for them "a la carte"? Can I pick my own race #? Where do I get a transponder from? The OCSC application implies that I need a club member to spon...

Re: Newbie Questions
Then, in that case, remember the most important rule relating to the IT ruleset: IIDSYCYC! If It Doesn't Say You Can, You Can't! Everything you can do is spelled out in the ITCS. If it's not in there, you can't do it... Yeah, I figured that. IMO it's a stupid rule but whatever, I'll play by ...

Re: Newbie Questions
Do not wait until the week before to purchase any safety equpment you may need. Your choices diminish the closer it gets to when the season starts.... Only safety equipment I need is a HANS device which will be purchased when Uncle Sam gives me back some money. :) Everything else (except the new Sp...

Re: Newbie Questions
Looking at the 2011 financials, of course the OCSC membership route is most cost effective. :P I can go shooting AND get practice in on those three day weekends I'll be "forced" to take to go racing. More questions... The calendar says it's winter. I hope it never really visits. My new F150 likes the fact that it's not getting that rusty in his first winter season.

Also, the club orientations are only scheduled so often, possibly once a month i think. its in your best interest to not wait till last minute, as to where your orientation ...
