Jack Pringle passed away yesterday. His health has been declining for a long time. He went to sleep Friday night and didn't wake up.

Hal told me that Jack will be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled sometime in the Spring.

Sad news indeed. To those only around the past few years, Jack was a Operating Steward for many years. He also used to share a race car with his brother Hal Pringle.
Full of personality, and never short of an opinion, Jack was one of those guy's that could make you laugh, make you think, and most of all , gave a damn.

This is enough to make you quite reading the forum. Like Vern another long time member of the Waterford family is gone. Jack was a great friend and will be sorely missed, RIP.

So sad to here. I was a Steward with "Grandpa Jack" as my kids called him. He was the best of the best when it game to his support and love of all the WHRRI family. sometimes he may have come across a bit "gruff" but he was always a true softy. Gods speed Jack. We will miss you!.

What a terrible month. Jack, like Vern was one of the first people I got to know when I started. I will miss their presence so much. 'Nuff said. :(

Very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Didn't really know Jack when he was racing, but knew his name and car. Jack was the first steward that I had to speak with when called to the tower my rookie year. It was a nervous walk up the steps and I was promptly greeted by Jack, "What the hell do you want?" Rookie hazing I guess. Turned out to be a minor issue with my car numbers. Jack decided to have some fun with it. Never missed a chance to talk to Jack after that. He was definitely one of the good guys at Waterford.

RIP Jack. Keep an eye on the Waterford racers from that big tower in the sky.

Jack was one of the best, enjoyed racing with him and working with him when he was a stewart! Remember his TUX t-shirt? Gary Ray
