In case you missed it Channel 2 did at 3-4 minute interview with an Autorama spokesperson Sunday about 8:15 AM. The back drop to this interview was the WHRRI display, mainly JB’s Lime Green Challenger but you could see the WHRRI logo and some of the other cars also. The interview ended with the reporter asking the spokesperson to “tell us a little bit about the car behind us” (the Challenger). The spokesperson got it basically right, naming the track, the location, what we do and what the car is.

Trophy time: Tim Gaffney, Second Place, Formula Road Race.
Dave Geloneck, Third place, Production Road Race.
Matt Chojnacki Second place, Production Road Race

Again this year there was a lot of interested people stopping by to ask questions about the track and what we had to offer. Majority of the question were about Open Track Days.

Thanks to:

Jim Lamb for hauling the display both ways and storing it all year.

Jim Lamb and crew along with Clark Lincoln and Paul Burke for setting up the display.

Tim Gaffney, Dave Geloneck, Matt Chojnacki , Ed Frank and JB for putting their cars in the display.

Bruce MacDonald and JB and crew for helping getting the cars down there.

Dorothy Johnston for getting the Trifolds, Coupons, Banners made. Dorothy had a 4’ by 6’ banner made of this year’s poster that looks great.

All those who worked the display all weekend.

Jim Lamb and crew for taking down the display.

To Steve Novosel of the Michigan Hot Rod Association for putting up with my very late entry and for giving us a great location.

Hello Weary Winter Travelers,

Here's a few pics taken on Saturday afternoon. I missed the WOW contingent this year; did they make a guest appearance? Congratulations to everyone that had a part in this very successful endeavor!

Another great job done by all the Waterford Hills Racing people.
Year in, year out, I'm always impressed that a club the size of yours, delivers and performs at the level that you do.
How does one get a copy of the new poster ?

The 2014 poster will be available at the April General Membership Meeting.

Keith,

If I am by your shop before the April meeting I will drop some off.
