WE NEED A CHEF!!!

As most know, we have been having a cookout after racing on Saturdays during trophy presentations. It is a fantastic way to relax and spend time with fellow competitors and the food is good. While the Club pays for the food donations go a long way toward defraying the costs.

For the previous couple years I did the grilling. It was fun and I looked forward to it. I stopped this year for a couple reasons, the main one being that my race became group 6 so I couldn't get it going early enough. John and Gina Grembowski have been doing an excellent job this season, but it is time for someone else to step up. If we can't get a new volunteer to man the grill next weekend, the cookout will have to be cancelled. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to set up, cook and clean up, but as I said, it is fun and you get to talk to just about everyone. People are pretty happy when they are about to be fed!
