Video from Saturday morning class race Group 5 (STL, ITB, ITC)
Jim and Adam did an unbeleiveable job by getting the steering knuckle changed minutes before this race started. I waited on grid to be acknowledged and checked by the girls before entering the race...and good thing I did as I completely forgot about the window net. With 2-3 laps to go I approached the ITB leaders...didn't think there was much reason to mix it up with them at that time, plus the alignment slipped big time, so I drove it in a lap early. Thanks to the EP, FP, ITB, ITC, STL crowd for letting me run with you guys this weekend. Everyone I came accross drove very clean and considerate, which made for some great racing without trading paint.

Hopefully some people watching will learn something about corner apexes and/or not driving down the middle of the road. (That's Chris Childs that Grogan was following and catching in those last few laps, in a Neon. 8) )

In the second video, it shows how drivers can race yet still give each other room to pass when appropriate. Props to the competitors in Group Five. :P

Group 5 Feature

Race starts around the 5:00 mark, some drama at the 8:45-9:15 mark, and again at the 17:55 - 18:05 mark.

Nice video Sean, good training video for me (itb 49), also contrary to how it looks I did not touch the 22 car when he went off in turn 2.

LOL... but it certainly can mislead. It's rather far back to be 110% certain, but the cars look just a bit too far apart to me for there to have been contact.

I noticed zero contact of any ITB cars over the weekend, very clean racing.

Here's perhaps the best video from the weekend, the Spec Neon Feature race: Group of four of us stayed pretty tight for the entire race:

Spec Neon could be THE class to run in next year. Potential for a 10+ car field easily. If you're looking to change classes to get more competition, SN could be the place to go in 2013. There's cars ready to race out there for sale for 5k or less, that need nothing but tires.
