Great run Merritt! I was at the track that weekend and when it started raining right after the race started I was wishing I was out there with you, then it started HAILING - LOL!

Great times and good clean racing considering the insane elements! Once you closed the gap again I knew I had to get around that IT7 car, didn't work so well in 3 lol. Congrats again on the win! :)

Great drive!

Wow, Mike almost rolled it when he went up on the curb in 3.

I think there were hail stones on the track. Sort of adds new definition to the term racing on marbles.

This entire race/run group had to be the most exciting and entertaining 15 minutes of the weekend. Insane weather conditions that NO ONE predicted, as every car was on full slick tires. Seeing the close and clean racing while drivers battled through the dry, ligh rain, to hail, then heavy rain was a real treat to watch.

Merritt's ITB win capped off the great drive by everyone in that group. Watching her battle with Mike through traffic, in the RWD 924 fighting the elements was just incredible. I look forward to watching this video after work today.

Agreed; EVERY ONE of the drivers in that group deserves a big round of applause for staying out and toughing it through that appalling weather.

Proof once again that Waterford breeds the toughest drivers! 8)
