Wow, to come back from a curb launch to set a class record in the same race....I'm impressed 8^D
Thanks, but just to clarify the track record that was set that session was for FX by Patrick Uebelhor. While my unofficial timing and scoring suggested I broke the FE2 record (1:05.889 by Larry Winkelman) the official T&S had me way slower. My GPS was off all weekend and my times weren't accurate at all. It was a decent drive after the incident though. I was so worried about damage.
Ah, OK...thanks for the clarification.
After an excursion like that at 6, it's only proper to feel out the chassis to make sure nothing had been damaged.
Then after a few turns it was rightfully Game Back On
How far off can a GPS-based lap timer get (?)
