Hello All,
Anne was very tickled with all of your well wishes in her Get Well Card !

She is doing better overall, and getting around a bit. She is thinking that she may be able to come to visit the Track [ to be confirmed ].

We still do not have any prognosis from the doctors - each day is another blessing, and the better ones are double blessings.

Anne is happy for visits and contact. If you would like to visit her, share a note, and we can get you the details for a visit.

Thanks to All !

Anne Roeske

Post by Franz »

Hello All,
our latest update on Anne Roeske is a somber one.

Anne re-entered the Hospital in July of 2023, to be treated for complications related to pancreatic cancer.

I was able to visit with Anne at Oakland McClaren Hospital in Pontiac on Thursday July 20, 2023.

Anne was responsive, and showed good reaction to the visit, however she was not able to communicate very much.

Anne was sleeping peacefully when I departed 1:30:00.000 after the end of visiting hours.

The Hospital called the next day, and informed that Anne had passed, through the night.

Waterford Hills respectfully and fondly remembered Anne with 58 seconds of silence on July 22, with 1 second observed for each of the 58 years that Anne volunteered at Waterford Hills. It is hard to think of Waterford without Anne being there.

Rest In Peace Anne ! You are missed !

So very sorry to hear of Anne’s passing. She was one of the building blocks of Waterford. She was always kind and willing to step up to the plate whenever needed. Prayers for Anne.
