Does anyone know what the noise dB limit is and how it is tested?

75 db with a db gun halfway down the backstretch. No wiggle room whatsoever.

Al Stephenson might have some ideas, given that he ran one a little bit back (search under hassenpfeffer ;)

Definitely recommend against a side exhaust, take it all the way out back, and leave options for putting different tips on the end to give some tuning options once you're at the track, sticking different stuff on to clamp down further on sound.

I maybe wrong, but the sound meter is behind the wall at the propertry line.

I run a single cherry bomb, exit on passenger side right before the rear tire, 1.8l motor in my Fiat FProd, never had an issue.

Also talk to Jim Miller. He races an ITB rabbit.
