Am I correct in assuming an annual tech is good for 12 months and not just for the season it was done during

You sir are correct. As it is so named, an "Annual" tech is good for one calendar year.
And as a reminder to everyone, please check the date of your last annual tech inspection and if possible wait until after the first race weekend for your next annual.

Doug, Thanks for the good tip, but as fate has it, mine is expired. Do you know if anyone will be out this friday to do Annuals after practice?
