Tech Inspection
Tech Inspection
I plan to run my first season at WHRRI. I bought the #0 ITB Corolla that used to run at WHRRI. I only plan to run at WHRRI. Can I get a log book at an annual tech inspection sometime at WHRRI? I am just trying to get ready for the season.

Re: Tech Inspection
The ideal of planning ahead will be to bring your car to the classroom session of school - Tech is usually on hand and usually has time to tech...

Re: Tech Inspection
If cars are inspected at the school, would we get both the WHRRI annual inspection and an SCCA logbook?

Re: Tech Inspection
If you have an SCCA logbook, you'll presumably be wanting an SCCA annual... but if the car already has a WHRRI logbook, you'll get a WHRRI annual, no?
With a Regional car, there's no real need for an SCCA logbook vs. a WHRRI logbook...
If the car has no logbook, you can get a WHRRI one.
If you believe you're in need of an SCCA logbook vs. a WHRRI one... then that must be obtained from the SCCA tech inspector (Larry)...

For now, I don't plan on running anywhere but Waterford so I guess go that route.924RACR wrote:If you have an SCCA logbook, you'll presumably be wanting an SCCA annual... but if the car already has a WHRRI logbook, you'll get a WHRRI annual, no?

Re: Tech Inspection
Crap ... I can't be at the classroom session until roughly 11:00 AM (grandson's first soccer game of the season that day) ... I could tow "The Banana" #37 Neon for tech inspection then, or any time later that day -or- we plan on being at the OTD on the 29th. Would either one of the above work for getting our car tech inspected? I'd like to be sure we are ready and legal before track portion of the school and/or WHRRI Race #1.

Re: Tech Inspection
If we can't make it on the day of the school, what other days/times might be available for tech?
