Questions entering season 2

Licensing - I never got an official license last year, maybe I forgot to send someone an email, but I assume I'm good to go for season 2 without having to do the drivers school again? (I started and finished every race last season, all six weekends) I would like to get a full SCCA license, not just Waterford Hills. What exactly do I need to do?

Waterford photo ID - Never got this last year either, I probably sent Randy a picture too late in the season. No big deal. Do I just resend Randy a picture after I'm all paid up for 2013?

Required credentials/feesfor 2013
-Waterford Hills Membership $25? (I send my yearly physical form in with this, correct?)
-Oakland sportsman club membership $165?
-Is there a lisence renewal requirement for 2013? (2012 was my first year
-Entry fees
(Anything else I'm missing?)

Thanks in Advance,
-Sean SN #37

For SCCA, you can apply for a waiver given your participation at Waterford last year: http://greatlakes-scca.org/node/424.

Also, if you just want to race SCCA Great Lakes regional events I believe that they will accept a Waterford Hills License.

get in touch with Randy Smith. indeed you need instructor and chief of driver school sign-off, but yeah, I think it's safe to say they're not going to have any issues with you.

if you sent Randy a pic last year, he probably still has it. couldn't hurt to send it again.

I do not know details about SCCA vs WHRRI license, but as Jeff said, I'm pretty sure SCCA accepts WHRRI licenses for regionals.

you can download the credentials form here http://www.waterfordhills.com/downloads ... s-form.pdf
$25 for WHRRI general membership, $100 for competition license, and $10 for each non-member crew id. yes, you need to include your physical form.

OCSC dues need to be paid directly to the OCSC office. according to the info form here http://www.waterfordhills.com/downloads ... p-info.pdf new memberships are now $230. if you are renewing, I understand it to be $200, and if you have enough work hours logged (I don't remember the cut offs), the renewal fee will be less. for workbee discounts, though, I think you need to renew in person. I'd call the OCSC office to confirm that.

Thanks for posting that info Andrew. Spoke w/Sean yesterday. He has his pre-filled in forms we sent and is working on the final sign off on his Novice Participation form.

Quick question. I couldn't find an answer after searching and this is the closest thread to my topic.

To get WHRRI credentials, do I need to be an OCSC member? I have an SCCA license, so do I even need to get credentials?

Thanks!

Phil

As I recall, to run for a WHRRI class/overall championship, you must be a WHRRI member, which also means you must be an OCSC member.
Otherwise, yes you can run with just your SCCA card.

They're not open on Monday's, but I'm going to mail in my registration today....is it for sure just 200.00 if you were a member last year?
