X cars

I know 3 cars (guys) that want to run as X cars this year, what do we do, who do we talk to?
Do they have a log book ?
Providing they meet all safety and track rules, a request for placement in a run group to the comp board is your next step.
All the cars, not a one person request as a canvass request.
