An Amazing Race Weekend #1 - Thank You Workers!

As a rookie completing my first race weekend it felt like a rite of passage with the weather the last couple days. We had snow, sleet, hail, rain, wind and 15 minutes of "partly cloudy." But it was a blast! I met some great new people and reconnected with old friends too.
But I wanted to commend all who run these events and in particular the corner workers and all the other volunteers who braved the weather Saturday and Sunday. While we were taking refuge between runs in trailers and vehicles, you all were in the elements and cold. I know all who raced want to thank you for your passion and commitment. You all really are amazing!
