I see some of the run groups have changed for 2017. Last year there was some talk about perhaps rotating the run groups from one race weekend to the next ... has there been any further thoughts about possibly doing that?

The Comp Board approved the switching of run groups 3 and 5. So last years run group 3 (ITA, HP, EP.....) will now be group 5 and last years group 5 (ITB, ITC, STL....) will now be group 3. We discussed just rotating everyone up one, but did not want to see Big Bore or open wheel cars going out on a cold track first group. So this is the best "switching" we could do. There was a lot of discussion and The Comp Board is an open meeting where all members are invited to attend and make their opinions known. So if you don't like something in your club, come to a meeting and speak up. The Comp Board meets the first Wednesday of the Month right after the General Membership Meeting at 7pm.
