August 1-2 Race Weekend Spectator/Crew Update

Post by BloodSweat&Gears »

FYI....we will be allowing spectators for our August 1-2 race weekend. Spectator fee outside the Paddock is $5 cash only. There will be LIMITED spectators allowed into the Paddock for an additional $5. First come, first serve. We will also be having Parade Laps at Lunch and Afternoon Worker Break for $5. Should be a great Weekend as we Feature our Improved Touring Cars with an additional 10 Lap race on Saturday.

As for crew....Drivers, please keep your crew members down to a bare minimum. We will be practicing safe social distancing. So keep in mind how many bodies can be in your paddock spot and still keep the safe 6 foot apart. That is our guideline.

Registration will be under the Frase Pavilion. Please wear a mask when you come through the line. We will be accepting CASH and CHECK as this keeps 100% of the funds in Waterford's bank account. But we can charge your card on file with MSR as well. You will be signing the waiver in person, like we have in years past. (Bring your own pen and take it with you, if that makes you comfortable)

Express Tech will be available for those having a 2020 Helmet sticker and their Log book with a current Annual (we will honor the 3 month extension)

We WILL be having Trophies Sunday night in the OCSC clubhouse. No buffet food, but I was told there will be a limited menu of plated food served to you, something like Burger & Fries or Chicken Sandwich & Fries, Wild Game Meatloaf, or something to that affect. Masks on if not eating and some sort of social distancing is required.

If you wish to just pick up your Trophy either Saturday or Sunday and not attend, Carl Biondo will have Trophies available in his Paddock Spot 115&116. Please be courteous, he also races and has to get the official results from Timing. But we encourage you to attend, lets try to keep this Waterford Tradition Alive!!!

Race Weekend #1 with SCCA went well, and I am looking forward to getting back to things Waterford Style!! Lets have some good CLEAN racing.
