2004 mazda rx8
Single turbo REW swap made 520hp to the wheels with 15 psi on the old ECU setup. ~current motor built by chips motorsports, Borg Warner S366 62mm turbo with methanol injection. Adaptronic ECU
There are some things that need attention before its street-able:
Boost control solenoid is on a switch for dual settings, but needs to be wired to the ECU still(just running on Wastegate springs now)
Fuel and coolant systems have been dry for years so they need to be inspected and serviced.
Transmission swapped with new fluid, you should have all fluids checked/changed and brakes done.
Long story short had a falling out after the shop that swapped it in 2014 did an unsavory job - I took the matter into my own hands. Everything so far has been built to sustain up to 800hp so it would be reliable. I've swapped in the current ECU and have a solid base tune on 7 psi to make it drivable but cant get anyone to fully tune it right now. At the rate I'm going it would be another 10 years before I get it finished so I've reached the point where I think it's best to let someone else have it. I have been putting together a build spec sheet with details on my pc with specifics and have receipts from the last motor build.
