Racing stripes

Any recommendations for a shop that can install wide racing stripes onto my Spec Miata? Preferably on the north side of metro Detroit.....

Also, what should I expect to spend on these graphics??? Is it cheaper/better to get a quick Maaco paint job to hide a few paint flaws???

Have you considered installing vinyl stripes yourself? I "Cobra-stripped" my NB (street) Miata using a kit from The Racing Stripe Store.
Try: www.rallystripes.com.
The last time I checked, Miata kits were running about $50.00.
It takes a little time and patience - but the kit is 1st rate and the results are worth the effort. IMHO
Several members of MiMIata (SE Michigan's Miata-Owners club) have stripped their own cars and everyone seems pleased.
Note: Due to the beltline creases on the hood and trunk, NA cars are a little more difficult than NBs.

My buddy opened a shop recently that does tons of GREAT work including lots of full vehicle wraps, etc... I'm sure that job would be cake for them to pull off.

Check out Sign City Detroit (in Livonia)... I'm sure it would be more than $50 of course but prolly your best option for the stripes and any other graphics you can think of.
