STL run group in Group 3?

Post by Randy »

I don't see STL listed in the 2011 run groups. Can it be added to Group 3?

Randy, if you take the fenders off those things, would it be classified in Formula Mazda as well? :lol: I take it your car went from "DP" to STU and now is in the new STL? I wonder if the 13b 7's are in STU or STL?

I like the idea of Formula Mazda....missed having you around last year!

Mazda 13B is permitted at 2615 lbs;

Greg,

Since I am on the STAC for the SCCA, I can tell you that I made sure that the Rotories are in STL. As long as you run them as they are in ITS. If you want to port or Turbo charge them they then go to STU. And for those of you who care, please run your cars in STL at as many SCCA regionals as you can! We want this to be the path of IT cars to Nationals, but we need the numbers to make it.

Happy Racing!

Good deal Chris. Thanks. I would agree that STL would fit well in Group 3. What's the process to add that?
BTW Chris, where's that Neon going??

It's suppose to be heading for South Bend IN. I am going to be running SSB and STU at Nationals this year.

THANK-YOU for the HEADS-UP. When we were discussing classes and run groups at last month's Comp. Board Meeting I completely forgot STL. Suyrprising, as I think the Arrow can run there. WOO WOO, I can run twice as many races now too!

STL doesn't show up on the onine registration. Can we confirm that it will be group 3 and add it to the registration?

I have added STL into the online registration system for the Race Weekends.

For some reason, I can't edit the classes for the full season package. If you wish to register for the season in STL, just enter in STU and put a notation in the "Note to Regsitrar" field indicating that you wish to enter STL instead.
