4/17/11 OTD Pics

Postby Woody » Mon Apr 18, 2011 12:06 am

I came out today to the OTD for just a litte bit and took a few Photos. I warn you though I am not a photographer.....I am sure the usual suspects will post some real photos, but until then, here are a few. I don't think I saw all the groups run, but I do have a few more if anyone is looking for a specific car. Most are just right out of the camera with no editing, so be nice, its my first attempt. 8)

Happen to get any pictures of the "hot" flat black E30?

I'd be interested in any pics of the black Cobalt SS from the last combined red/blue session as well. There was another black Cobalt SS that was debadged running as well though, mine was the one with no sticker on the quarter window. Probably the only real distinguishing factor between the two on track and I don't know what group the other one was in, but I know he left early and I started running late. Edit: I see you do for sure have a picture of the other black Cobalt. His had the grill bow tie blacked out and my grill bow tie is still gold so that would be another distinguishing factor.

^^^ One of the black Cobalts ran with lower airdam driving lights on, that should be another distinction (at least from the front).

Brian,

Thanks for the nice comments. I really didn't need anymore "hobbies" but I really enjoyed it, and hope to do more this year. Was my first time using the camera, (or any camera in close to 20 years)

4camTbird, I will def. take a look for you when I get home to see if I have any Pics of your Cobolt.

I just missed the "Flaming" E30 by a minute or two. Had just got out of the car when I saw him coming down the frt. straight.

I see one casualty, bummer. I hope the driver was OK.

when I take pics, that's my approach too. I don't trust my eye to make good editorial decisions, and I figure those who care can edit stuff down better than I can. I tell myself I'm providing raw service, and no one has yet had the heart to tell me I should give it up.
