Kettering Firebirds Presentation

Postby r.ranville » Sat Oct 12, 2013 3:51 pm

I will have the opportunity to do a presentation to the current membership of the Firebirds Club at Kettering. Any suggestions will be welcome; perhaps there are former Firebirds who'd like to come along, possibly even put on a small display.

As long as I'm taking up Board space, tomorrow, October 13 is me and Ramona's 47th wedding anniversary. I ran into the Kettering members out on their big parking lot today, testing SAE cars. I told them about the track and about being a flagger and that my wife is a flagger also. One of these very young men said "sounds like a keeper!". I guess!
You might as well go fast; it'll go by fast anyway.

Randy,

If I'd been getting on the board more often, I'd have been able to help a little bit. I am a former Firebird, and can't imagine that they've changed much.
They always prefer the driving side of things, as opposed the cone shagger/ marshal side. But, they're always enthusiastic, and I hope your presentation went well.
