Up for sale is my 1994 Spec Miata.

I bought the car off a colleague in 2012 in Michigan. He built the car. I ran the car from 2012-2016, but due to heavy work travel, I've kept in storage at a friend's garage since then. At the time, the car was competitive and was consistently at the mid/front in regional events with a podium finish or two. It was always within 3s of lap records in my hands and I'm sure it could do better in more talented hands.

I bought the car for 8500. At the moment, I'm just looking to give it a new home and have put a hopefully motivating price. This is a good starter car for someone handy looking to get into Spec Miata for cheap or looking for a decent track day car, or looking to build it into something entirely different (time trials, chump, drift, etc). The car needs a little work to get updated to the latest Spec Miata rules, which is why the price is so low. The car will need to go through tech inspection and the logbook process again. It will need new fluids, new belts, and a new fire bottle to meet tech again. The brake pads have maybe 1 weekend left, so it will need new pads for the next season. I have, unfortunately, lost my logbook when I moved out of state. The car last passed tech in May 2016 for a race event in Waterford Hills, MI. I do have the AMB transponder number.

- Spec Miata Suspension Kit (1994-1997 1.8L DOHC K-SPEC-M5-SUS8)
- SM Bilstein Dampers (newly installed in 2016)
- NB Miata top mounts and bump stops
- Race Engineering Built Engine (had about 3 seasons from prior owner before I bought it in 2012)
- NA Adjustable front swaybar
- Halon fire system (may need update)
- SS brake lines
- AMB transponder
- New battery (2019)
- Carbotech XP10 front / XP8 rear pads
- 1 set of SM6 wheels (Kazera KZM) and tires (on car now)
- 1 set of Hoosier H20 tires on wheels (Kazera KZM)
- 2 spare wheels (Kazera KZM)
- Some spare parts (bolts, gaskets, etc)
- NRG Quick release steering wheel
- ACT clutch disk
- Cage is 1.5" OD x 0.095" wall thickness
- Window net and inside net
- Cool Suit tank in the trunk with wiring hookups
- AIM Mychron3 data acquisition and display (has AFR, fuel, water temp, RPM, speed)
- Vehicle speed based on hall effects wheel speed sensor on RR wheel
- Momo full containment racing seat
- Crow Industries 6-point race harness (new in 2016)
- AMB Hardwired transponder (I have the transponder number from Motorsportsreg)
- Mobil 1 10W30 done in 2016 before storage
- 2350lb min weight
- Coolant system filled with 50/50 for storage
- Full 93 Octane pump gas with Stabil for storage
- Polyurethane offset front upper control arm bushings
- ARP wheel studs
- 4.30 rear diff with Torsen
- Red restrictor plate (45mm?)
- ODO stopped around 9x,xxx and was disconnected by the previous owner before I bought the car
- Springfield Dyno SM Exhaust with additional, removable muffler to meet noise for stringent tracks
- R-Package front lower lip (not installed)
- Hidden hitch (car was registered and street driven to nearby races)
- Slight body rust on lower quarter panel in front of the wheel
- Small crack on windshield
- Surface rust on suspension bits

Last alignment I can recall was:
Camber: -3.5deg F / -2.5deg R
Toe: 0 deg F / 0 deg R
